Brown Sugar Spicy Nuggets

Brown sugar spicy nuggets. This isn’t a typical recipe I make as this one isn’t exactly family friendly, probably too spicy for kids and requires a liking for spicy food. It’s very unique. Very very spicy(on the white people index) but you can also taste the brown sugar at the same time and the cooling taste of the ranch dip adds a nice contrast. The Cal/protein ratio is insane!

How to:

This recipe is super easy to make.  Lets dive in!

Step #1 Mix all of the following together.

  • 12 oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, diced
  • 1/2 Tbsp (8g) Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp (12g) Swerve Brown sugar replacement*
  • 1 Tbsp any BBQ rub of your choice

Step #2

Lightly coat the chicken in olive oil.  I recommend using a spray form.  (olive oil is caloric dense.  The goal is to use as little as possible while lightly coating the chicken.  I have accounted for 1/2 tablespoon in the nutrition facts)

Step #3

Toss the chicken in the Spices.

Step #4

Cook the chicken in the air fryer or oven @375 for 15 minutes.

Step #5

While the chicken is cooking mix 100 Grams of 0% fat free Greek yogurt and 50 grams of bolt house ranch for a dipping sauce.

Step #6

Toss the chicken in another 36 Grams of Swerve Brown Sugar.

Step #7

Enjoy 😀
